Many families, particularly for Muslim weddings, prefer a woman photographing bridal preparations, the ladies' section of the nikah or walima, or an all-women function such as a mehndi held separately for women. The Wedding Film can arrange a dedicated female photographer for exactly this, working alongside our regular team so the rest of your day is still covered by our full studio.
This isn't a separate, smaller service: a female photographer covering your bridal getting-ready or a women-only section receives the same briefing, the same attention to your family's preferences, and the same editing and colour grade as the rest of your gallery, so the whole set of images feels like one consistent body of work rather than two different styles stitched together.
How This Works
Tell us during your consultation which parts of the day you'd like a female photographer for: often it's the bride's hair, makeup and outfit preparation, sometimes it's an entire women's section of the ceremony or reception kept separate from the men's side, and sometimes it's a specific all-women event like a ladies' mehndi. We arrange the right photographer for that portion of coverage as part of your overall booking, planned well in advance so there's no confusion on the day.
Because we're a full studio rather than a single freelancer, we can offer this flexibly: a female photographer for the women's side, working in parallel with our usual lead photographer and second shooters covering the rest of the event, all reporting back into one edit and one gallery.
If you only need a female photographer for a specific, smaller event, such as a ladies-only mehndi or engagement, that's available as a standalone booking too.
